Richard & Alex. I wanted to follow up on my email comments from a week or so ago regarding Calvin Christian. Let me just say, You all got a good one in Him!! I write this to you both, to let you know that it’s not very often you find a hard-working professional in the Trades anymore. Since ISS has been doing business with Fluent, Calvin has shown time after time his ability to diagnose (Properly) and fix the issues when called upon. In my many years involved in Facilities Management, there are only a few people I have run across who seem to have that ability to understand, diagnose, and come up with viable solutions to fix complicated HVAC problems. Calvin has those abilities, and they are much appreciated. He has fixed a lot of equipment issues on our site in the past 7-8 months. We are making great progress in getting our equipment back to where it’s supposed to be. Our service calls are becoming less and less every day, due to things being fixed properly the first time and not just part changing. I want to commend and Thank!! Calvin for his professionalism and attention to detail while on Fluent property. His dedication to what he does for ISS Mechanical is extremely apparent. It is my hope that this recognition is shared with him, his peers, and the company. It is professionals like Calvin who keep and make companies successful. Calvin sets the bar extremely high for his peers to follow.

I just wanted to reach out and thank both you and the team for helping to get our SCU back online last Wednesday. Unfortunately the SCU feeding the 1st floor does not have backup cooling and without the blower motor we were dead in the water with cooling for the entire first floor of our office building. We had three different vendors and Schwab personnel all working to find a replacement motor to no avail and ISS was able to not only find the motor, but also supply the resources to complete the installation after hours and get us back up and running before people arrived for work the following morning.

I would like to give a special shout out to your technicians Jason Reyes and Alex Rivera for staying later than expected and making personal adjustments once thing started to go downhill.

During Jason’s initial visit to the site he was able to determine the motor had shorted windings, at that time there were no other issues with the SCU and the motor fuses and VFD were fine. After Jason had left and while we were waiting on confirmation of a replacement motor we brought in the original vendor that installed the damaged motor, and allowed them to perform there diagnosis for the warranty claim. While the other vendor was on site making his checks the fuses that supply power to the VFD and the motor were blown and we did not find out until after the new motor was installed and we were ready to perform rotation checks. Jason and Alex along with Miller Electric worked diligently to try and find replacement fuses, unfortunately these are not a typical shelf item and we were not able to find any available locally. The electricians were able replace the fuse block with a temporary fused disconnect to power the VFD and motor and allow Jason and Alex to verify proper rotation and complete the installation.

Jason and Alex were courteous and professional throughout the entire process and committed to helping to resolve our cooling issues in as timely a manner as possible, they made it very clear they were here to support us to the end!

Without the commitment, support and combined resources of ISS and Miller through the day and into the evening we would not have been able to successfully get our equipment back up and running in a timely manner. It was very refreshing to know that we have vendors that are able to think outside the box and support us when things don’t turn out the way would initially hope!

Our building is full of oddities and unfortunately, we are currently unable to make the changes that we need to do. Edwin knows this system inside and out and efficiently takes care of it’s needs. He is a wonderful communicator and videos are always informative. He is very detail oriented. I watch him train journeymen and he is very patient and informative. Not everyone is able to teach their knowledge and he is good at that as well.

Good morning Rich,

I have always enjoyed working with Greg on my a/c items for many years now. I wanted to share that yesterday, Greg went above and beyond to assist with an on site issue where he was reviewing some a/c data and when he arrived discover a possible natural gas leak. This occurred early yesterday. He didn’t hesitate to contact me to advise of the possible hazardous situation. At that time we had a commissary kitchen cooking and a day care in full operation.

I truly appreciate his action to help divert any emergency concerns. I was able to have the fire department arrive to review and Greg took it upon himself to turn off the gas line and call TECO gas to review the leak.

I am grateful for his emergency actions and for contacting me. He has always handle my jobs in a professional manner and this was exemplary actions on his part and I am glad he is on your team.
